We had some rainfall yesterday! Not much to be true, but a nice summer dampening of the dust.

Not sure why the digital rain guage registered on the 20th and 21st of February, definately no clouds about, maybe perched birds shook sensors?
The takeover of Bugs’ parent company Warner Bros was decided today with the outcome going in Paramount’s favour. Given Paramount has gone heavily into debt to secure the deal (which has already had it’s credit rating down graded to ‘junk bond’ status), let’s see how long (years wise) before the company is broken up (if it does finalise). Bugs would have preferred to be part of Netflix.

Unfortunately the hydroponic mint also didn’t make it, so it’s been replaced with a Spathiphyllum or Peace Lily.

Another Rockingham park, this is Rotary Reserve just over the road from the Palm Beach forshore.

An inlet known as The Pond along the Shoalwater foreshore (techincally the Safety Bay foreshore, but very close [200m] to Shoalwater). It was a windy day (the annual Rottnest Channel Swim was cancelled due to the conditions) and the kite surfers were making the most of it. This is from the west looking east.

The first photograph from the Perth Hills! This is from the Lions Lookout at the top of Lesmurdie hill off Welshpool Road East with the Perth CBD in the background.

More of the Palm Beach foreshore / Mangles Bay, this is from the eastern boat ramp again looking ENE with the Palm Beach Jetty to the right behind Bugs and the Kwinana Grain Terminal visible in the distance.
