It rain (slightly) the last 2 days! Across January 25 & 26 there was 1.5mm recorded in the rain gauge.
We’ll track the year’s rainfall in the table below, with also the rainfall from the digital rain gauge for comparision.

This is from along the Shoalwater foreshore, by the Lions Park carpark looking across to Penguin Island.

A cumquat [kumquat] that was planted 08Dec25. It has flowered already and looks like it could set fruit, so appears to have settled in well even though it was planted early summer (it has had some extra hand watering).

The last of the parks that become lakes with strong winter rains that we will track. This is the corner of Fisher Street and Properjohn Drive.
